Hi, I'm Dawn Marie and I'd love to be your Fairy Pawmother. 

As a midday walker, I'm generally available from 10 - 3. I will do later drop-ins and walks, just ask! Drop-ins and walks are my specialty. Finding reliable and attentive care for your family member can be so difficult. I'm here to solve this very common problem. I respect your pets like they were my own.

Over the years I have worked with many dogs that have different needs and have never felt discouraged or intimidated in challenging situations. I have been an animal lover and dog/bunny/kitty/bird owner my whole life. Currently, I live with three rescue dogs; Betty, a raucous dapple dachshund, Maggie, a super chill elder doxie, and my newest addition, Lucy, a beautiful long-haired doxie.

All of my dogs are, without doubt, my besties. I have struggled with traveling or being gone for long periods of time away from them, so I completely understand your need to have a helping hand while you are away. Let me help you care for your best friend while you are traveling, at work, or at play.

In 2023, I am opening up one space in my home for boarding for stays of 7 days or less. If you live nearby, I'm also able to bring your dog to my fenced back yard to play with my dachshunds. Your dog must be dog-friendly and vaccinated for rabies and bordatella. If you are going out of town and just want me to do drop-ins, you must schedule a minimum of three per day.

Safety for your pet is my first priority. I carry a first aid kit and know basic medical techniques for dogs. Intentionally, I am alert during walks and try to avoid potentially dangerous situations by avoiding other animals, making sure we stop at intersections, and ensuring that the collar/harness we are using for your dog is the safest for them.
