Caring for your pets
Hi, my name is Dawn, and I live in Northeast Minneapolis with my three raucous dachshunds. Betty was my heart dog for eight years of my life. I adopted her when she was eight, despite being told that she was “unadoptable.” She is the little dapple in the photo to the left. She taught me a lot about consent and uncondtional love. I had done pet sitting many years before. During the pandemic, I decided to pick it up again. It was a way for me to be around people from a distance.
I have been a pet mamma my whole life. My first dog, Waggles, was a lovely black cockapoo. My parents relented and gave in to my constant demands for a dog. He was my seventh birthday present. Over the years, I have had many pups, both large and small. Pets are what keep our hearts light and open to possibility.
I take great pride in caring for your pet. It’s an honor to be entrusted with the care of your bestie. I am mostly a solo project. From time to time, you will be notified if I have another sitter. I would only trust this person with my own pets to care for yours.
